The four-building business park at DFW International Airport is the last major industrial property in North Texas to change hands.
The Trammell Crow at Passport Park project includes over 2 million square feet of warehouse and retail space on Rental Car Drive just north of the Irving airport freeway.
97% of buildings are leased and purchased by a real estate investment fund.
“There are 34 buildings in Passport Park that Trammell Crow Co. built at the DFW airport, ”said Jake Marks, head of the Trammell Crow project developer’s office in Dallas-Fort Worth, in a statement. “As always, the DFW airport team has become an excellent partner in creating a first class business park.”
Ryan Thornton, Randy Byrd, Jonathan Brian and Eliza Bachhuber of CBRE acted as intermediaries.
The residential complex Passport Park is located in the southern part of the DFW airport and has been under construction since 2018. Nearly 9 million square feet have been built in the area.
Dallas-Fort Worth is the nation’s leading industrial construction market, with over 30 million square feet of projects being built.
