Covid-19: World Bank approves $ 500 million loan to support India’s informal working class amid pandemic – video by The Economic Times

The World Bank on Wednesday said it had approved a US $ 500 million (approximately Rs 3717.28 crore) loan program to support India’s informal working class in tackling the current pandemic. The World Bank said in a statement that the loan will provide states with greater flexibility in dealing with the ongoing pandemic, future climate shocks and natural disasters.
