Corey Panther joins Dundee on loan for the whole season! | news

Young Hatters defender Corey Panther has agreed to join Scottish Premier League club Dundee on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.

The 20-year-old signed a new professional development contract last month before heading north of the border to begin pre-season training at the newly formed club Dens Park.

The left center midfielder or defender has been impressive enough in training to earn second-half appearances in a 3-0 win over Leyton Orient and a 2-2 draw at West Ham last week before signing the lease today.

Adrian Forbes, Head of Player Education and Development at the Academy, said: “We are delighted that Corey had this opportunity in Dundee. The Scottish Premier League is a real step forward in his development and he will receive an excellent education playing with and against some seasoned professionals.

“He left home for the first time and has made a good impression so far in the preseason. Dundee is a good club to take care of him and it will be a great life experience for Corey and also extremely rewarding for his game.

“We are really excited that clubs, the Dundee bloodlines, are looking at our young players as potential tenants and we look forward to seeing how he progresses over the next few months.”

Everyone on Kenilworth Road wishes Corey the best of luck with his work with the Dark Blues.
