Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is set to join Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old took an interest from Leeds but instead joined Palace, for which he had been a long-standing target.
Gallagher, who played for England at all youth levels from 17 to 21, was the focus of the Palace last summer. The loan was close before they turned their attention to his teammate Michi Batshuayi.
They focused on the striker as Premier League rules did not allow them to sign two loaned players from the same club.
But they have returned to their interest this summer after his impressive season at West Bromwich Albion at the last term, and have now agreed with Chelsea to move him to Selhurst Park on a temporary basis.
