The Browns have sold the rights to the name of their headquarters in Veria, so the club’s educational and administrative complex will now be called the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.
The NFL franchise and the retail mortgage lender announced the agreement Thursday morning.
The deal also makes Cleveland-based CrossCountry Mortgage the Browns’ official mortgage partner.
“As family-based organizations operating in Northeast Ohio, the Browns and CrossCountry Mortgage are aligned with our mission, values and goals to serve our fans and clients in the region and beyond as we build that partnership and create the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.” Dave Jenkins, Press release states that COO of Browns and Haslam Sports Group. “We share a commitment to educate and develop all of our team members and create a strong internal culture that is the foundation of our partnership as we invest resources in our campuses and community.
“The history of CrossCountry’s rise in the mortgage industry as a Northeast Ohio-born company is unmatched across the country and serves as another great source of pride for our region. We are delighted to be the first Berea naming partner in our 75-year history. ”
A Browns spokesman declined to disclose the financial terms of the historic naming deal.
In 2019, the Browns renewed their headquarters rent until 2039. The city of Veria owns a facility at 76 Boulevard Lou Groza, which opened in 1991.
Haslam Sports Group has acquired properties surrounding the training fields and main building and plans to eventually expand the CrossCountry mortgage campus.
