The road to cross them was a bit winding. Clark moved from corporate IT to the real estate world back in 2007. Kotsur, on the other hand, worked as a real estate appraiser for many years before diving into it over 30 years ago.

Focusing primarily on Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, The Heights, Shepherd Park Plaza, Candlelight Plaza, Candlelight Estates and other hinterland areas of North Houston, the couple have worked with RE / MAX Metro for about 10 years. Kotsur is a Houston native and lived in Garden Oaks and Oak Forest, while Clark grew up on the southwest side of Houston in Westbury and lived in Shepherd Park Plaza / Timbergrove for over 30 years. Kotsur also graduated from Saint Pius X High School.

The two are now teaming up to form the ultimate real estate team with RE / MAX Metro serving buyers and sellers in Northwest Houston and beyond as they can exchange ideas for marketing, pricing, or other aspects of the deal to pass on. their clients.

“We are here for them from first contact to closing, and even when one of us goes on vacation or gets sick, they are still insured,” said Kotsur.

Over the past 18 months, the couple have had two best-selling years in 2020 and so far in 2021, despite the pandemic. They continue to hold mostly face-to-face meetings, although Kotsur said they continue to provide masks and other preventive measures.

However, both said that despite the growth in sales, their focus was still on treating each customer equally. According to them, the main priority is to constantly maintain open communication lines and constantly work on each client and his individual needs. They want a personal relationship with their clients, even though personal connections may have been slightly higher in the past 18 months.

“When I worked as a real estate appraiser, I spent a lot of time on this,” said Kotsur. “When you work hard, you reap the benefits. I thought I could work with the same diligence to help people find their dream home! I’ve loved it all for the past 31 years! “

Through their 10-year partnership, this sense of service has never wavered for the duo. Regardless of the need, be it buying or selling, the couple believes that they are all-inclusive and always ready to help their clients. And it looks like it paid off.
