(Reuters) – Cineworld has received additional £ 200m in loans from existing lenders, the cinema operator said Friday, betting on deferred consumer demand and a strong number of upcoming films to help support this year’s recovery.

“The additional liquidity announced today provides the group with significant operational flexibility now that movie theaters have opened around the world,” said CEO Muki Gradinger.
