Chelsea midfielder Tino Angiorin is on the verge of getting a loan from Lokomotiv Moscow to join the Russian club on a permanent basis.
Athletic said on Friday that Angorin is weighing his options after receiving a number of offers, including from Lokomotiv, to move to another location.
However, Lokomotiv Moscow is making every effort, since the head of the development department, Ralph Rangnik, insists on the deal.
He had a great influence on persuading Angorin, who, for obvious reasons, was afraid to leave his family and go to Russia to make the transition.
Lokomotiv is believed to have included an option whereby they will buy Angorin on a permanent basis for £ 17 million next year. Chelsea are believed to have negotiated a £ 34 million ransom if he ends up staying there.
Today, the 19-year-old was undergoing treatment in London and his transfer is due to be officially confirmed shortly.
