Chadwick and Salam join Linfield on loan – News

Academy Products Billy Chadwick and Ahmed Salam have joined Linfield’s Northern Ireland team on loan.

Striker Chadwick has signed a contract until January, while midfielder Salam will spend the entire season at Windsor Park.

The hometown duo followed a similar path in their young careers, each of them enrolled in Hull City academy before age 12, albeit one year apart.

Both young players have signed new contracts in the past 12 months and have played for the senior team in black and yellow for the first time in the 2020/21 season.

The 21-year-old Chadwick has played nine times in four competitions – all from the bench – and also received an effective loan with the National League Halifax, scoring four goals in 17 appearances.

The 20-year-old Salam has twice been a substitute in the EFL Trophy and has been featured in the league’s matchday twice.

The NIFL Premier League season begins on March August, when Linfield became the reigning champion after winning the 2020/21 season.

The club wishes the couple the best in their rental.
