SAO PAULO, July 19. (Reuters) – Brazilian retailer Via Varejo has received a central bank lending license, securities filings showed on Monday.
The retailer, which has two million customers with checking accounts, said it has set aside R $ 300 million in capital to provide loans.
Via Varejo added that her clients have pre-approved loans of up to R $ 42.5 billion.
