D’Many Mellor was the last player to leave Manchester United on loan.
Young striker joined Salford City for a seasonal deal.
Mellor, 20, was successful at United but suffered an ACL injury in March 2020.
He is now back from injury and was recently spotted training with the main team.
Glad to see him
Salford’s boss Gary Boyer reported club site how excited he is with his new addition.
“Firstly, a big thank you to everyone at Manchester United, this loan once again strengthens the relationship between the two clubs as D’Shawn Bernard received a successful loan here last season.
“We are delighted that D’Many has agreed to join us on loan and he gives us another option to attack.
“He’s an amazing player. with an incredible speed of work, who was very happy to come and join us. “
Mellor also sent a message to fans of his new club after his arrival was confirmed, and it is clear that he shares Boyer’s enthusiasm.
’92 Relationship Class Bearing Fruits
Of course, the six members of the ‘Class 92’ are the owners of Salford, and this is not the first time United have sent a player there on loan.
D’Shawn Bernhardt moved to a league 2 club last season. He is impressed and from the looks of it, he is currently in the championship with Hull.
If Mellor manages to make this kind of progress, he will be thrilled, especially from where he suffered a serious injury last year.
He went straight to Salford after a 3-0 win over Newport today and came on as a substitute in stoppage time in the second half.
