Bee Mortgage App Adds New Board Member

The Bee Mortgage App, the first mobile mortgage app built on the blockchain, announced that Scott Miller, who received a significant stake in his last seed round, also became a member of the company’s board of directors.

Miller has long been recognized for his expertise in launching and scaling financial technology. Over the course of his career, he has raised or sold nearly $ 500 million on behalf of fintech startups. Most recently, he co-founded a pioneering fintech company, BillGO, guiding the company through more than $ 100 million in funding and backing from, among others, Capital One, USAA, Commerce Ventures. Although he started his career at Ernst & Young, the fintech industry soon caught his attention, and since then he has held numerous leadership positions in the fintech industry.

“I was thrilled to meet Scott earlier this year and then quickly resigned myself to his desire to join our company, not only as an investor and advisor, but also as a member of the board of directors,” said Curtis Wood, founder of Bee and EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

“As a board member and special advisor to Bee’s management, Scott brings a wealth of experience to Bee’s leadership that will help us manage Bee more effectively. Under his strategic leadership, we have already begun to save time and money by most recently introducing Drata, which is streamlining our SOC 2 certification process. ”

“The fact that the industry hasn’t changed much since 10, 15 or even 20 years ago scares consumers, not to mention affordability for buyers,” Miller said. “Bee’s mission to solve this problem is something that I can completely abandon from an investor’s perspective.”
