Bayern Munich Frauen leases Veronica Zavistovskaya to FC Cologne

Back in April Bavaria announced the signing of Veronica Zavistovskaya on a three-year contract. At the time, Bayern also announced that Zavistovskaya would immediately go on loan to guarantee her some Bundesliga-level experience. Now this loan has been announced.

Last season, Cologne won the promotion to Frauen Bundesliga, and this is where Zavistovskaya will play now. She will join the club with two former Bayern players Mandy Islaker and Eunice Beckmann.

“Veronica is a very talented striker with great potential” Bavaria’s sporting director Frauen Bianca Rech said:… “Veronica and I have drawn up a plan for how we want to develop her together over the next few years.”

Last season in Poland, Zawistovskaya won a double with Charney Sosnowiec.

She becomes the second Bayern player on loan this year. It was recently announced that Julia Pollack will transfer to Bayer Leverkusen for this season.
