US Youth International Taylor Booth in talks with the club Bavaria about a new contract, and can be loaned to a club in any Austria or Portugal Sources told ESPN.

Booth, 20 years old, already has experience in Austrian Bundesliga after spending the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan from St. Pölten. He scored three goals in 17 league and playoff games, but that was not enough to prevent the club from being relegated to the second tier.

Moving to Portugal would be more attractive considering that in terms of obtaining a work permit in England, Portugal’s top division is considered the “Band 2” league and the Austrian Bundesliga is “Band 4”. Booth’s younger brother Zach is listed in the books Leicester City… Taylor Booth also holds an Italian passport. His contract expires in June 2022.

A native of Eden, Utah, joined the Bayern youth team from Real Salt Lakein 2019. Since then, he has played for the club’s U19 team, as well as Bayern II, which play in the third league. Booth played twice in the league for Bayern Munich last season.

Booth is widely regarded as a player on the rise, and he has been vying for the U.S. men’s national team in Switzerland back in May.

But the club’s commitment to the playoffs with St. Polten meant that he was unable to participate.
