The Belgian striker will join the Turkish side, who are also expected to have the opportunity to buy
Chelsea striker Michi Batshuayi approaches Besiktas, Target I can confirm.
The Belgian striker will travel to Turkey on loan and Besiktas is expected to have the opportunity to acquire it for between £ 5m and 11m ($ 15m).
Chelsea have given Batshuayi the go-ahead to Turkey to finalize details, and the striker is also looking to add an extra year to his contract so the Blues don’t lose it for free next summer.
Batshuayi’s last credit move
Heading to Besiktas, Batshuay will be looking to secure a permanent first-team role as he hopes to play for Belgium in next year’s World Cup.
Since signing with Chelsea in 2016, the 27-year-old has received four different loans: two from Crystal Palace and one each from Borussia, Dortmund and Valencia.
He also played 77 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 25 goals for the club and earning a Premier League winners’ medal in the 2016-17 season.
Batshuay will not be the first Chelsea striker to leave this transfer window, as Olivier Giroud has already played for Milan and TAmy Abraham is about to join him in Serie A, joining Roma.
However, this summer, Chelsea invited Batshuayi’s international teammate Romelu Lukaku, who became the team’s ninth star.
