It is reported that Barcelona have decided to loan Conrad de la Fuente on loan next season in order for the young man to try to play mainstream football.
The 19-year-old was frequently seen in first-team training and on Ronald Koeman’s teams last season, but has only played three games.
Nevertheless, Barça still have high hopes for the youngster and believe that the loan will help him develop in the next season. Marca…
The clubs are not specifically mentioned, but the report says Conrad will either stay in Spain or head to the Premier League, Bundesliga or Ligue 1.
This move makes a lot of sense, given that Konrad barely participated in the 2020-2021 season, and Barca added Sergio Aguero to the attack, could switch to Memphis Depay, and should also have Ansu Fati in uniform available in 2021-22.
Konrad has a contract with Barcelona until 2022, but the deal includes an option for another two years.
The loan will give Konrad a chance to win valuable playing time and give the youngster a chance to prove to Barça that he has everything he needs to continue and enjoy a successful career at the Camp Nou.
