Everton have made an offer to Arsenal to loan the Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The offer includes the option to buy a right-back, who can also play in midfield, and negotiations are under way on whether a deal can be closed before the August 31st deadline.
Maitland-Niles are on the list of players Arsenal are willing to allow to leave the club.
The 23-year-old has just spent the second half of last season. for rent in West Brombut was unable to keep the club in the Premier League. He also spent the 2015/16 season in the league with Ipswich.
Rafael Benitez may be busy until the deadline, Everton also have ties to Dalian Pro striker Salomon Rondon.
The palace pushes for a deal with Nketia
Crystal Palace are still pushing for a deal with Arsenal forward Eddie Nketia.
Patrick Vieira sought to further strengthen his team after Will Hughes midfielder’s recent signing from Watford, and took aim at the new forward.
Fee negotiations are ongoing, but a gap remains between the two clubs’ estimates.
The German club is also participating in the program for Nketia, which entered the final year of his contract with Emirates.
Negotiations on a new deal with Arsenal have not been resolved earlier in the window.
