AIIB provides $ 500 million loan to fight coronavirus in Indonesia

JAKARTA, July 15. (Reuters) – The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), based in Beijing, has approved a $ 500 million loan to Indonesia in support of the fight against COVID-19, the bank said in a statement Thursday.

The AIIB previously provided two loans to Indonesia to fight the coronavirus, bringing the total funding from the bank during the pandemic to $ 1.5 billion.
